Comparative study Of TVS cervical score and Bishop score in prediction of successful labour induction

Abstract Background In today's obstetric practice, induction of labour is a common procedure. Before the imaging era, favourability cervix was assessed by manual examination scored as Bishop Score. However, subjectivity and high inter- intra-observer variability are limitations this approach. This necessitates implementation an objective method assessment. We used transvaginal sonography (TVS) assessment TVS cervical score comprising five different parameters; length, funnelling at internal os, distance from presenting part to external position. study aims evaluate role pre-induction ultrasonographic in predicting outcome comparing it patients undergoing labour. Methodology observational prospective included 100 pregnant women admitted for single tertiary care centre.
